Daily Routines in my Opinion

"Life without structure is erratic"

As Ryan Holiday says. Routine gives structure to the life. It helps us reduce the decision fatigue, and help overcome the anxiety we go through for unimportant things.

Create a routine, so you need not make a decision about the next step of action for the simplest of things. You can save your decision making power for several other important things that come your way during the day. Set your alarm AND wake up earlier than you are required to, so you can get your day kicked off sooner than others'. Keep your morning pages notebook accessible, so, you get to it as soon as you are ready to start your day. Lay down your workout clothes so, you don't have to make a decision about exercising every morning.

Do your nutritious meal prep so you needn't decide amongst bazillion options from drive thru fast-food chains. Have minimalist clothing and accessories options, so you don't have to choose the colour combinations and permutations before leaving for work. Have the time set aside just for writing the to do list, so you know what your day needs you to get done. Set aside time for your reading, so, you can't say that your day have been too busy to read books. Before you sleep, do your reflections or a gratitude log, hence you can count your blessings. Choose to allocate your peaceful time- Walking, meditation or merely listening to relaxing music. Include your passion/hobby into your daily or weekly routine to retain your sanity!

Apart from the obvious health benefits like reduced stress levels and better mental, physical and emotional stability, it also helps in improved sleep quality.

Create your routine. Sit for 15 minutes and decide on things you think are important but you tend to put off for the next day that never arrives. Structure your day and remember, the collection of days make your life, so how well you live your life is precisely, how well you live your day!
