My 'Everything' Smoothie

Here's to expecting the unexpected! A post unrelated to mind and emotions? Nah, you're mistaken, how you treat your body shapes most of our mind and how we feel. This goes much more than surface level results like feeling active, having better digestion etc. The gut microbiome is a world in itself and each of us carry over 100 TRILLION MICROBIAL CELLS that determine how you feel internally, every moment. It depends on which bunch you feed in this massive group that keeps you going down that route. Before you give up on those steamed brocollis and go back to your whole pack of Miss. Vickies, just recognize that at that moment you choose to feed bad bacteria instead of the beneficial ones, and what you sow is what grows, hence the never ending pattern of food addiction, and being unable to stick to a healthy diet happens. I will write more on eating patterns, list of nutrients and nutrient rich foods, and healthy meal plan ideas, but for now, let's stick to the agenda. My 'Everything' smoothie.

This smoothie contains a whole bunch of micro and macronutrients and this leaves you feeling refreshed, nourished, and filled all at the same time! Obviously I am not a dietician, check for allergens, quantity of each ingredient as per your taste preference, and your caloric watch before adopting the recipe, add your twists and share your go to drink (Not Gin and Tonic, please!).

I am not a typical food blogger, so my recipe card is more so a Nitrate experiment instruction manual.

How you make it:

It can't be simpler. Take a large blender add cut apples, banana coins, all berries, dried fruits, nuts, seeds, powders, and the desired plant based milk. And run it until smooth, add more milk to achieve desired consistency. You can make a smoothie bowl so you can enjoy scooping in for all those delicious goodness, or pour it in a large class, and sip or chug!

No added sweeteners, but if you really desire it, add one tbsp of honey to the blender. You can adjust the quantities of each ingredient, but ensure you don't exceed the daily intake levels of nuts and seeds.

Cheers!
