30 Life Lessons as I turn 30
Hello, Readers!
I am turning 30 on the 28th of this month, and I am reluctant to accept that I have officially reached the age where people start talking about muscle health and gulping down vitamin pills. I am borderline sad that I've reached the age where I am no longer considered "young and stupid" and am now expected to be an adult. Now I can't blame my stupidity on how long I've lived (I meannnn... that's just rude!). One more year, and all of a sudden, I'm supposed to be a brand-new person? Well, maybe I can't come to terms with it just yet!

Well, enough of my rant! Long story short, I am in disbelief that I'm suddenly expected to know stuff and do things, and frankly, I am not prepared to grow up—but I've got no choice. I have started this new site/blog, #DAILYDaffodils, to record my learnings from these years and continue documenting them as the days go by, trying to make it a daily entry. I am also hoping to get the gallery section of this site up and running so I can share more of my life and perspectives with you. I've never been particularly interested in photography, but I'd like to get my hands dirty with it, just for the thrill of seeing beauty through artificial lenses. So, hopefully, my vision for this blog expands, and I hope I have your support through and through. :)
Anyway... here's a very consolidated list of life skills that I've learned over the years. We all have obviously learned quite a lot through the years we've lived—something as small as converting °C to °F, and something as big as coping with the loss of loved ones. I am going to focus this series on lessons that have enhanced my perception of events—lessons that can be applied universally to the situations I encounter in any area of life. These lessons aren't about knowledge or intellect, but about understanding and experience. This consolidated list is the essence of my current view of life on Earth. In the upcoming posts, I will expand on each of these lessons and link them accordingly to provide a better understanding of what I mean. In the process, I am also hoping to gain more clarity about what I've learned.
